Ditto. New rule for me: If a bonus pick could lose me more points than I can make up in one game, I don't touch it. Even if I blow both sides of the LSU pick, I at least would have had 2 points at the end of the night (3 going into the LSU game).

Was at the game. The clock quit working, but......I'm pretty sure it was within the last two minutes when they put him in.

Yeah, it was at the 2 minute mark on the dot. I left with my son during that time when the clock went out and as we were walking out, they announced 2 minutes on the clock and about 100 feet down the concourse, they announced Mason entering, followed by a nice ovation for him.
Got a nice, "aw shite" from me.

I got Ga Tech game.. Maryland game and Mich State game.. UF let me down and Missed the O/U on UGA.. Won't ever pick another bonus question. At the emergency room at the moment, I'll have to total up tomorrow after work...looks like I'm at +1 right now

frick me for not paying attention. I didn't read the shite on the bonus pick, bonus pick means a plus, but it is not a bonus pick, it is a pick.

Hiney sight as I call it is always 20/20. The truth is the odds of getting bonus pick was probably better than any of the games. Of course most of us assumed that Georgia would have the game well in hand by the first half or 3rd quarter at least. So really there were only 2 logical choices either the 4th quarter for clean up duty or not at all if you didn't thing Georgia would win the game in a complete route.
We all knew the forecast called for rain and I had already stated that no favored SEC teams beat the spread in the last round. As such I figured te game would be a lower scoring game thus the under made more sense and of course a closer game than expected. Like a fool I stayed with Georgia as a dumb sentimental pick. That will be the last time.

I was looking forward to see what Hutson could do, but it was too dicey for way too long. If he leads us to a good season next year the kid is a DGD in the same vein as Shockley b/c he coulda been a starter in numerous places.

Having researched UNT before the game, I knew they might give us some problems. They are a strong team and have performed well so far this season. Our defense hasn't exactly had its shite together so far, either, so this had the makings of a closer game than expected. Hence why I picked UNT. Between our defensive woes, the weather and CMR's unwillingness to put the proverbial foot to the throat when given the opportunity, I saw no way that Georgia would cover.

Given what I stated above (and that I agree with you on this), I have no idea why I picked the 3rd quarter. I thought it would be late....as in last two minutes of the quarter. But based on my logic for the pick, it was dumb to think anything prior to the 4th quarter would be feasible.
So, in short......I'm a tard.
