Stet was not the issue. The interception where bowers fricked up was not on him. The other one was questionable. That said, the issue is that with stet in, they don’t respect the pass quite as much, plus his pre-snap reads don’t give him the free reign that JT has. That is just a fact. JT’s strengths are his arm strength and his pre-snap ability.
Now all that said, my firm belief is that JT is still hurt. And they’re hiding that so he can come back next year and not hurt his future draft stock because it’s not a good look to be hurt most of your college career. I’m not an insider (I’m military in fricking Guam), and I have nothing to base that on. But it’s a gut feeling

I've been tossing this theory around here for the last 5 weeks. It's a little odd that he was still wearing what looked like a flak jacket stuffed under his jersey even 2 games ago. The fact there was clearly no thought to even put him in at any time, even for a "change up", is odd IMO.
