Practice squad in the NFL makes $129,200 and receives NFL coaching/facilities. I would venture that the coaching is better than we have on staff this season and next.

Will rodrigo be better prepared for the NFL after another year under Scott Fountain? Or after a year with a professional coach/peer group?

The better development opportunity is in the NFL for rodrigo.
The question is if he can make a team (like Catalina, it only takes 1 team to become an NFLer).

However with the 2 recent kicks out of bounds, lower touch back percentage each month, and the recent missed kicks... the safer bet is to stick in school (and not worry about being cut). It is the NFL. A bad week can be brutal.

NFL teams don't keep kickers on the practice squad, if you don't make the team you are cut and go sell insurance.
