Chapter 1:
-Eason injury > Fromm emerges = Profit

Chapter 2:
-JT Daniels “injury” > Stet emerges = Profit

Chapter 3:
-Beck injury > Gunner Stockton emerges = __________

Fill in the blanks, sons. Kirby magic revolves around backup QBs . Recognize the puzzle piece that got lost under your couch. Pick it up . Blow the dust off of it . Grin

Maybe some of y'all can shed some light on this for me. Kirby has always been loyal to our QB, and some might say to a fault. But what am I missing here? Didn't Gunner break all the records that Watson and Lawrence held in Ga high school history? Was his competition weak? ND has no true tape on him, I'm feeling really good about the 1st.

The only difference is Stockton played HS in a lower classification than the above. Not necessarily a negative but means he performed well against arguably lesser pools of talent. Why there are more unknowns with him. He comes from a good football family and has toughness and leadership for sure. Hope it translates and he can lead us to victories.

We've not had 3 different backup quarterbacks to start the season lead us to SECCG wins in the last 7 years. All three were Georgia kids from the boonies. Pretty awesome!

So did Peyton, Eli, and Arch..... Sadly, most of your great QBs get recruited by private HS's.

Fromm played at a much bigger school if I recall.

Kathleen is still pretty podunky. Affluent by middle Georgia standards, but still podunky.

I'd compare it to Vandergriff. BVG was a 5 star but played at Prince Ave Baptist against similar competition. They played each other in BVG's last year.

Was Prince Avenue the best team they played that year?
