I’m seeing a lot of talk about UT in 3 weeks, god I hope y’all realize UGA has a week to get as healthy as possible, and travel to Jacksonville to play a down and out UF team. For all the shite they’ve been through this year, their season would be a success to come to Jacksonville and give UGA a big L.

One day at a time, one game at a time!

If UGA plays like they did the last 6 quarters it will be bad for the gators, but, if this offense comes out like they did a few other games (Samford, Kent St, and Mizzou)it could be a long day.

I hate the fricking gators!

UF hasn't looked all that impressive so I think we'll be fine. I keep thinking back to last year though and many pepole forget the fact it was only 3-0 with about 2 minutes left before halftime. Then of course we scored 3 quick TDs and the game was essentially over at that point but we were very sluggish out of the gates.

I'm sure kirby will try to hammer that home in teh coming weeks.

I was thinking that too. Stetson looked horrible, that pic he threw in the end zone was horrendous, it ended up being 3 minutes of terror for the Gators.

I think Kirby’s hate for UF is comparable to Spurriers hate for UGA back when he was in Gainesville.

We ran the ball 33 times and passed 19 last year. Once we got the lead we ground it and ate clock. We may well do the same this year. Even though Stet has left the game early a lot this year due to huge leads, he has a lot more time with the 1s and the offense is more built around his skillset. Monken has shown that if the opposing defense plays to stop the run, he can move us to those short pass plays and create 1 on 1 and 2 on 2 situations. Will be nice to see us have our receivers all back and ready for this one. It’s also been nice to see us build a sound running game equal to last year. We have 4 really good backs with different skillsets that can run between the tackles and outside as well as catch the ball. Defenses also have to put in guys to cover our athletic TEs, which is also helping the running game.

Who cares if fans talk about Tennessee? Not a single one of us will be on the sidelines in Jacksonville and have no bearing on what will happen in the game.
