A READING FROM THE AMERICAN DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE:
"We hold these Truths to be self evident...
"That governments are instituted among Men"
"Deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"
"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends"
"It is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it"
"And to institute new Government"
"Laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form"
"As to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness"
"IT IS THEIR RIGHT"
"IT IS THEIR DUTY"
"TO THROW OFF SUCH GOVERNMENT"
"And to provide new Guards for their future security."

Or do you understand now what a crock of shite you have been fed about what this day is suppose to mean?

I fight with the government all the time but I am an old guy with a family history of fighting in every conflict from the French and Indian war to the current conflicts in the middle east. It saddens me that kids in the 30 and under set seem so concerned about things that don't matter than to become engaged in the matters that do.
Politics aside, fight the issues than fight the party mentality is the correct choice of every true American who believes in the country we call home.

HOnestly, since this country long ago abandonded the principles of the 4th of July/Declaration of Independence......we should probably just go ahead and rename this holiday 'Trump Day', and move on.

They only fought for their rights as states. Considering it is the 'United States', and based on the declaration, they had every right to face off on the government.
