I fight with the government all the time but I am an old guy with a family history of fighting in every conflict from the French and Indian war to the current conflicts in the middle east. It saddens me that kids in the 30 and under set seem so concerned about things that don't matter than to become engaged in the matters that do.

Politics aside, fight the issues than fight the party mentality is the correct choice of every true American who believes in the country we call home.

What he and you are describing is government dependency that is currently "progressing" in our nation through political design.

The name just doesn't make sense anymore. I mean, is Louisiana "united" with California? Is Texas "united" with Vermont?

A: frick no. I feel like I have more in common with some foreign countries than I do Atlantans, even.

They only fought for their rights as states. Considering it is the 'United States', and based on the declaration, they had every right to face off on the government.

They lost, yes. But unless Lee isn't a true Patriot, that war goes on for many more years.

That's OK though. I don't really care what Cali does in their state. I don't live there so whatev.
