How is the failure to execute NOT a coaching issue?

There is something fundamentally flawed with our philosophy if we have superior talent and continue not to execute.

For example, how did Boise St. execute better than a lot of power 5 teams all those years with a marked talent deficiency? Did the players just execute better without their coaches doing anything better or different than our coaches?

Richt has been perfectly content his whole life being a backup. When you are not the starter when you are young it can effect you the rest of your life....Richt is perfectly comfortable being not quite good enough....and it has made him incredibly wealthy....

I'd rather not lose to GSU but if richt gets canned as a result, it will be well worth it.

I've seen GSU play several times this year. They didn't have their starting QB vs WVU... App State whooped their arse... but they still have a good team... I just SMFH at WG, Sandwich, and others who say ITS ONLY GEORGIA frickING SOUTHERN...

They do have a very good team this year and App has an awesome team with on of the best defenses in football.

I know its only the Sunbelt but App and GSU will upset some good teams in good bowl games this year.

We will get enough of them to have the 6th ranked class in the country......and the fifth best in the SEC......

Us giving up 7 points isn't really a bad thing. Us only scoring 7 is the fricking problem, and has been all season.

Can't win when you only rush for 47 a half.

“It’s about sustaining that success. That’s the goal; that’s the objective,” Schottenheiemer said of a Georgia offense that led the SEC in scoring average this past season and has set program records during the past three seasons. “The good thing about me is I’m coming into a situation where there’s a bunch of really good coaches on the staff.

“We’re not going to reinvent the wheel. I think philosophically, that’s one of the things Coach and I see in this program. We see things the same way, the pro-style offense. We’re going to run the football. Obviously, that’s a big part of what we’re doing. It was really kind of an easy fit, an exciting fit because not a lot of teams in college football are doing it that way.”
