On College Football Live today Jonathan Vilma and Greg McElroy both said that they trust Fromm much more than Stidham Saturday. So do I.

Vilma said Stidham can get skittish and erratic when pressured.

McElroy said that Fromm only cares about winning and understands situational football.

Cool but irrelevant, Fromm doesn't play against Stidham.

Fromm plays against Auburn's defense.

Stidham plays against Georgia's defense.

What keeps me optimistic about the game is knowing that Fromm is so strong mentally. He will make mistakes, but he'll shake that off and be ready to go back out and ball out.

Fromm could tie Eason's freshman season TD total (16) tomorrow with one more TD pass.

From what I have seen of Stidham, I pretty much agree with that assessment. Stidham can be an accurate long passer if he has good protection but he doesn't seem to perform well under pressure. Here's hoping our front 7 can make Stidham uncomfortable the entire game.
