I use Hamilton E Holmes on the west side of town. Straight shot to the Vine City & GWCC stops.
Best part is after the game. I'll head down to the platform and 95+% of folks on MARTA are headed the other way. Packed in like Tokyo commuters at rush hour and my westbound train is nearly empty.

yep. From the time I walk out of the stadium doors I'm typically in my car and driving within 30 minutes and encounter zero traffic at all.

If you live in athens I get riding Indian creek the reason we don’t is it takes 12 mins to ride 14 miles in your car as opposed to 45 mins each way on the train.

I have done it twice, I didn't time it but it didn't feel like 45 minutes. Maybe 20. I can't find the info on Marta, it has the schedules but not times to the different stations.
Edit- found something buried on the Indian Creek page. Says 20 minutes to Five Points, which is one stop before MBS/CNN etc. So maybe 26 minutes? That's about what I remember.
Edit again- I guess if you just missed the train and had to wait 20 minutes for the next one, it could be 45 minutes. But you have that same variable at the other stations.

Indian Creek doesn't have fenced parking either. That's not the play anymore. Park at the Edgewood/Candler Park station right off I-20. That area has been revamped a bit.

Coming from Athens for the SECCG (also first time going to the Benz) I parked at Doralville Marta Station…literally feet from the entrance. It was about a 30 min ride to 5 points, which were spent bullshitting with other Dawg fans. Had my kids with me. They loved the fan experience at the World Congress Center. I drank Tropicalia’s while they played games. There were decent food stands in there as well. I missed the Home Depot backyard as it started pouring about the time we got into the fan experience, so we stayed put. The Marta Station was nutso after the game. Had to wait a while to get into a car, and then had to wait awhile before we could actually sit. It still beat fighting traffic imo. The train ride back was longer…or felt longer, but again, we just chatted with fans. If I were going back for the PB, that’s how I’d do it.

Elliott Street Pub was my saving grace before games but I think it may have closed recently. Otherwise the entire area around the stadium is basically a big mall.

In the vine city station after the game push strong left of the crowd trying to get down to the train nobody ever goes all the way down the platform to the front of the train you can catch the first one most times

I live in NC but will be going to the game from Newnan. I’m in town visiting my kids and so I’ll be making the trip from there.

I’m going to do you a solid here but I warn you people will tell you I’m nuts.
Park at the westlake Marta station and ride in
No doubt Marta will be the best.Got on at Avondale for the SECCG.It did take while to get going after the game @ Vine City and the train was way overcrowded but still the best solution
especially with NYE traffic.Ill doing the same Saturday.

Yep. Closed in October. Cam Newton bought it, he's turning it into a speakeasy. Too bad.
