After receiving the top pick in the draft, Christopher quickly fell apart. Their season could be over before it even starts, with a projected finish of 10th in The Dawg Rant League. Expected to go 0-13-0 (1,671 points), this team has the potential to be an easy weekly win for the rest of the league's GMs.

Seems harsh

I like my team too, but so does Yahoo so that makes me second guess my decision. I don't trust those guys.

Draft Summary

Adrian BeaterSon drafted like a bat out of hell in this one. Meat Loaf once told the NY Times that he's played in as many as 60 fantasy leagues in a year, and he would surely approve of this drafting display. Adrian BeaterSon assembled a squad built to reach the playoffs and is projected to finish fourth in The Dawg Rant League with a record of 8-5-0 (1,849 points). They used a conservative plan early to fill out their lineup, selecting QB Russell Wilson (37th overall), RBs Leonard Fournette (24th) and Carlos Hyde (44th), and WRs Julio Jones (4th) and Michael Thomas (17th). They put together one of the best groups of WRs in the league, as they have Jones, Thomas, DeSean Jackson, and Tavon Austin on their team.

They hated mine. Not as much as Chris', but they really didn't like it.

Changes their bye week from 11 to 1. Sucks for them. That's a long grind without a week off.

You better try to trade him now while his value is high because bellicheck will find someone else run the ball at the goal line after he failed 2 times on 4th down.

They would have played at a neutral site and Miami would lose a hone game.

Makes sense. I think I'd rather give up a home game than play 16 weeks in a row.

Don't care about Cohen.

Do care about the waiver system. We discussed this last year. You shouldn't be able to pick up players after their game has started that week. They should go on a waiver list so everyone can have an opportunity to make claims on Tuesday.

Nothing has changed.

Free agents are available to you at anytime. If there is someone you want and are willing to drop a player for, go for it.

Dropped player(s) will enter waivers.

It cuts both ways:
Example: David Johnson went down during game. Chrissy alertly grabbed his backup. Basically saving his own arse next week. If that goes to waivers Chris is likely fricked. So if you are watching on Sundays you gain an advantage. Especially regarding your own players\backups.

This league is fricked up. In traditional leagues everyone has a fair shot at picking up waiver wire players based on their waiver priority.

Sitting around on the computer watching for injuries is not how ff is supposed to be played.

Considering there is money involved here the playing field must be level for all participating

So you consider giving the worst team in the league waiver priority a level playing field? Or the randomness of rolling waivers? It's all bullshite, just depends on your view.

This league is in year 4 of these rules.

Brutal defeat for my squad in week 1.

I'd rather lose by 20 than 1.

Week 1 coaches press conference.

My team will pick up the pieces. It's just one game. It's time to put in the work this week during practice and perform better this weekend. No injuries to report at this time. We feel lucky to have gotten through week 1 virtually injury free.

We will be making some defensive changes this week. JJ Watt is a pussy and has been cut. Not man enough to anchor this D. On offense the depth chart will remain the same. Just need better execution in the week ahead.
