And I disagree. I think next year we will have as good of a team as we possibly will this year.

Aaron Murray is the x-factor... QB can make or break a team and the Dawgs have no idea how lucky fhey've been in this category.. Look around

True. But next year I think the defense has the potential to be one of the best that we've ever had. Not to mention that if all goes according to plan that it will be the best backfield that we have ever had. Hell all Mason has to do is know who to hand the ball off to.

Seems like we can never get both sides of the ball on the same page in the same year... O all world this year D rebuilding... '14 Great D new QB on O...

Is your offense really All-World, or is it just better than the year before? USC had it's highest-scoring offense ever under Spurrier, and is positioning itself to surpass even that this season, but while USC fans are excited about that, no one is saying we'll have all-world offense in 2013. UGA was top-20 in scoring O and top-25 in total O. While that is certainly excellent, it's hardly All-World, IMO...

QUESTION: What did UF lose on defense?

UF has a ton of very talented players on defense...they have really done well in recruiting top 4* and 5* talent under Muschamp. But they did lose a lot from last season. They lost their top 3 tacklers in Evans, Elam, and Bostic, their top 2 TFL guys in Floyd and Elam, and their top 2 INT guys in Evans and Elam. They still return top D guys in Purifoy, Fowler, and Watkins so they should still have a tough defense. Some have compared the projected '13 UF to the '07 UF team after all that NC-winning talent on D graduated from '06, but IMO they still will need to improve by miles to get their offense to the levels that the Tebow-led '07 squad played at.....

This is a better offense than any that Stafford, Moreno, or Green was on. I truly believe the defense will be much better than last year, due to two things. 1, a rotation of bodies on the d line so no player gets worn out over 70 or 80 of the opponents snaps, and 2, the charisma and the culture and the dedication of this team is different, in a better way. Much more chemistry overall.

I just hope we win it for at least my grandads sake. He's the most die hard uga fan even his chimney and walls are red. He sleeps by a picture of uga biting at the aub douche. I don't think he can take too many seasons of "almost".

You're really comparing NCAA offensive rankings?
No doubt powerhouse schools ranked ahead of us;Syracuse,Texas Tech,Fresno St would ALL put up the same numbers if they had been in the SEC

Bottom line, the offense set all time UGA records for points and yards in '12 and will be the best offense UGA has ever fielded.

the first month does you no favors but get through that and then WIN in Atl this year and Richt will be raising that crystal.

I think a lot of the questions will be answered week 1, no offense to south Carolina, florida or even LSU. Big stage with college gameday and a night game with Clemson coming off the bowl win over us , the perception has been UGA cant win on the big stage... I understand yall beat #2 Florida for the trip to ATL last year but this will be a Gameday primetime game to see who is for real. UGA wins then the whole Murray and richt cant get it done on the big stage will go away.

The next week will be the toughest of the year in my opinion, 3 straight to Carolina, Murray has yet to beat Spurrier and SCAR, get through the 2 schools in Carolina and I think its UGA's to lose.

Nobody in the country other than ND fans last year who didn't want to see BAMA and Georgia go another 4 quarters. I think yall get the opportunity this year, and have the weapons to knock bama off the pedestal. Good Luck

We should have one of the three best offenses in the country. Defense will be young but talented. Seems like most of the spotlight was on JJ last season. I've seen situations where losing a superstar actually made the team better. We'll see. If our O puts up the kind of numbers they're capable of, we can get by the regular season with a decent D. Can't win the SEC without both though. Maybe they'll mature by the EOS.
