Worst UGA team since the 10-20 season back in 99-00. Absolutely awful.

I saw where they projected us to win 3 conference games on SEC now last week. Can someone tell me where the other 2 wins will come on our schedule?

Obviously I don’t want our team to die, and I still don’t think the majority of it is Crean’s fault. They had bad habits. They just had them at a slower pace.

I’m really ready for Wilridge to leave Athens. No offense to him, but he just doesn’t provide anything on the floor. Sometimes I think he’s an alright passer, but he plays so timid and can’t shoot or dribble.

Our guards don’t think. They have no ducking feel for the game. And that’s the crux of the issue. I think that’s trainable. Others don’t

I think our players aren’t very high IQ. I hate to say it. But they have no clue what they’re doing

thats fine to think the issues they had were from Fox, but they havent improved at all this year and that falls on Crean's lap

To an extent, yes. I also don’t think our players are very smart like Athenslife mentioned. Crean didn’t recruit those guys to the program. Hopefully we’ll bring in smarter players that are able to improve their poor habits at a better rate.

Like there. Hightower just bit on two different shot fakes and it gave Ole Miss a wide open 3 pointer.

That’s such an easy moment to teach so you would think someone like Crean has pointed that out earlier in the season. We’re in game 23 and we’re still making stupid mistakes like that. The players need to be held accountable as well.

Then they shouldn’t be playing. A lot of teams have 7-8 team rotations.

Don’t reward poor play

But who do we play then? Our guards are so bad, but we have to play at least 3-4 of them per game.

The best two.

I think it’s in part stubbornness.

Cream wants to run his system. But we aren’t ready for that. So instead of going to an interim system, he’s ok with asking our players to do what they can’t

Harrick did the same as Crean... he implied that all 5 players touched the ball prior to a shot... he had his bumps and didn’t have the players to apply his scheme... year 2, along came the Hayes twins, Ezra Williams, Rashad Wright, Chris Daniels, and that a-hole Tony Cole... point is... once Crean gets 3-4 players this year, his scheme will take affect... Hammonds and Claxton will be year 2 into it... next year should be better.

A good coach fixes poor habits though. I'm not going to assume the intelligence of our players. I doubt they are that much dumber than the average athlete.

I might be wrong, but I think part of that is showing recruits what we want to run.

Yes, I considered that.

But then, how can he tell recruits he will develop them if we look like dogshit doing it

Don't know, but it looks like it might work with the class we're appearing to bring in.

Also, don't really like what Crean had to say after the game today. I'll see if I can find it real quick.

I just mentioned it in the Anthony Edwards thread but yeah, that was a bad move on Creans part. What a dick.
