If we can play with this intensity in the SEC like we’ve done to open the season, we’re gonna win a lot of games. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Dawgs lead 75-29 with 7:30 left in the game

Dawgs win 94-29. This is officially the biggest arse whoopin I’ve seen since the 03 team beat Southern 96-36. Unreal defensive performance.

I wonder when was the last time we held a team scoreless over the last 7 minutes of the game, if ever?
You gotta figure a bogus foul or two would lead to a free throw here or there. 7:30 without a point is incredible.

That's another wild stat. How about missing 32 3 pointers and still winning by 65?
Obviously, the first 2 opponents were awful. However, we do seem to have options all over the place. I still wonder how not having a legit PG will hold up against the elites. Kinda sucks Silas is gone because him on this team (losing Smurf) and I literally think this team could compete for the league this year. Catchings, Wilkinson, Stagg, Cain, etc. is tufffff. If they all can play up to their potential + press and play D, then we might can make a little run this year. There's not much drop off after substitutions and I can't remember the last time if ever i said that about a UGA basketball team.

Been following Georgia basketball for over 30 years, although not nearly as much since the late Jirsa/early Felton days took all the joy out of the program, and I think it's encouraging that we've won the first 2 games by those margins.
Traditionally it's been 81-62 or 72-59 against the real bottomfeeders.
Good sign, hopefully.

I wish we had a big basketball booster that could have thrown money at Asa to stick around one more year with this team.

Morehead St today. They’re a feisty little bunch. They’ve made the NCAAT and NIT recently. Always been a decent mid major. Good little Sunday game. Hopefully we come out with the same intensity like the previous 2 games. Go Dawgs!

Catchings shooting good. Overall shooting 3s way better. Not sure why they let James bring it up the court and get it stole. James is solid but not great ball handler out in space.

Omg....that was not goal tending on Cyril. That was a legit block.

Dawgs lead 64-42 at the half. Shitty defense but this team is extremely explosive.

I feel like Cain has grown alot as a player from last year.
