Cal must be doing a helluva job selling their program. #1 NFL draft pick and a very good basketball recruiting class last year and this year looks the same. And now they got the #1 WR. He won't make or break us. It's more about depth and missing on a few star positional players sucks but we are heading in the right direction.

To be fair to D-Rob, there's a lot to like about Cal's campus and academics and he'll be playing for a team that will probably get more overall production out of him (spread offense, Pac-12 competition, etc).
I'm just thankful we still have quality freshmen receivers to look forward to, especially if Mecole ends up playing on offense.

"Me and the coaching staff have a great relationship"
Hopefully they teach grammar at Cal. It's the "coaching staff and I" genius.

There is literally zero reason whatsoeover for carlos to move out to CA with dr. That will be my indicator. If carlos stays in savannah, I'll concede that DR just simply liked them better...hey you can't win em all. If carlos moves out there in the next 2 months there is nothing that can be said that would convince me he isn't behind this. Time will tell.

Put your critical thinking skills you learned in 1st grade to use.
I never once compared them as players. Also, obviously, we have the hindsight of knowing herschel is the greatest CFB player of all time while DR has never played a snap.
What I DID do was say that both players dragged their commitments out and went well past NSD. If you asked people in May of 1980 if Herschel really just loved UGA with his heart and soul most would say no, considering it was literally a last minute decision between us, USC, and clemson.
Think.

Can y'all stfu. We wanted him, he chose to be a good athlete on the west coast. If I was that age and visited out west I'd wanna be out there too. Best of luck to him.

good gawd... TOS reporting Carlos was quoted as saying Kirby wasn't giving up and that "anything is possible". SMH, if true....

Neither I nor anyone on this board needs to think when we all have you around to do it for us. I bet you're a treasure to live and work with. I'm surprised that someone hasn't killed and eaten you by now just to try and obtain your vast knowledge.
Herschel wasn't a prima donna and chose UGA. Whether or not he loved UGA is a question that only Herschel can answer. I doubt very seriously that you're close enough to him to be able to make that call. Demetris apparently didn't love UGA and, thus, has chosen to matriculate on the west coast. More power to him. Time for grown men to move on.

yall seeing the common theme here?
I am 100% convinced that if carlos wasn't around DR would be in Athens as we speak. frick that guy.
Posted on 5/1/16 at 3:37 pm to WG_Dawg
absolutely. this has always been about Carlos. going by what we think is going on here, DR will end up in Cal (because of Carlos) but because of what we perceive is going on here, Carlos wants to keep the drama going.

I'm assuming you're just regurgitating Rivals insiders...probably the same insiders that said DRob was going to be a Dawg?

And you care why? You seem pretty passionate about WG. You lovers, or are you the same person?

Well, she is...but this regurgitation comes from William Poole's twitter so I choose to trust him.
