Somebody let me know and we can do the thing where we count down and post players numbers and stuff.

I can't post pics but I'll update the thread title

Tomorrow is 42, which would be a good one. Champ Bailey.

Well I rescind my comment then, but he is known for wearing #4. So my bad on that. I'll own it.

Also. WG. Are you not an admin? Is there a reason we let Secgamer spam this board like he does? It drives traffic away and it why I've asked to be admin.

I agree with you. Nobody would just automatically go to champ for 42 unless they were intentionally going for a deep cut for some reason.

I have a very, very small amount of capabilities beyond a normal poster so I guess you could use that word, but it's not like I'm Chicken's second in charge or anything. Lew can do a ton more than I can.

When people go off the rails those threads are deleted. Like yesterday.

traffic has been slow on thsi board since the spring which is just kind of natural, IMO. Once football and basketball end there really just isn't a ton to talk about. The state of college athletics today sure hasn't' helped either.

Thoughts on the anchoring of the political talk threads? They brought some life to the bored at least

I agree with your assessment of that poster. Spam is a good word for what he does; multiple repetitive posts essentially talking to himself is not normal message board behavior. He's either 8 years old or intentionally trying to make the board unpleasant for everyone else.

The fact that Bobo received a contract extension and it was mostly crickets around here put this into context..

Team's main two coordinators get raises almost every year. That isn't anything noteworthy I don't think

I didn't anchor it and don't know who did. I haven't read a single page of it because idc but I had no issue leaving it be.

What is anchoring? How does one know that a thread has been anchored?

Doesn't go to the top of the page when you reply

You didn't ask, but here are my thoughts. This is the Georgia Sports board. The focus is Georgia sports, which creates a nice medium for UGA fans trying to escape from the hard news topics that permeate their lives. You started a thread about politics, which was not intended to be the focal point of this board, even during offseason. You posted 80 times in your political thread. Your buddy SECGamer posted another 100 plus times in your political thread. Then, you started another thread about Georgia politics, and posted 7 times in that thread.

There is an active politics board on Tigerdroppings, which was created partly to keep people from injecting politics, which is a very invasive topic, into the other boards. You and your friend are ostensibly new to this website and apparently have lots to say about politics. I highly recommend the Political Talk board for you to elaborate on those opinions.

You're right, I didn't ask you.

41 days..without Googleing...was Shaun Chapas, Brennan Southerland, Jeremy Thomas, JT Wall, or Frank Muzenmier #41?

More than one answer could be correct or none of the above could be correct

I think jeremy thomas was the #41 Fullback you're thinking of. Kind of the forgotten man during that string of great ones but seemed like a solid dude.

My memory is slipping but I think those other dudes were in the high 40s or 30s. I know Jeremy Thomas was 41 though.

Good catch. I knew Jeremy longo was a DE but thought he wore #41. But that was not correct. Totally forgot about Jeremy Thomas or my mind combined the two
