So Kellen Moore never got picked up and you think Murray would go in the 3rd or 4th rounds right now.

2) Do middle round NFL QB's get a paycheck?

I see your point, but he is going to come back and money is not an issue. It's not like he doesn't have parents, or has kids of his own to take care of. He will come back in hopes of improving his stock even though it probably won't help

Comparing him to Kellen Moore is a complete joke. Everyone knew Kellen had shite for arm strength and would not get picked up by an NFL team. Lack of arm strength will kill your stock at the combine 10X more than being a little midget frick will.

NFL min salary for 2012 = $355,000. I'm guessing a middle round pick gets a bit more than that.

How long would it take to make that with a degree in psychology?

Why take the chance of coming back to a much tougher schedule in hope of going just a little bit earlier in the draft?

I agree, Personally if I was AM I would go pro because I would not want to risk injury.

However, I don't think that he will go pro because I think he will eat up whatever Blowbo and CMR will feed him to get him to stay. They will prob sell him on staying by claiming that by "refining" his mechanics will increase his draft stock. I really don't see him leaving unless he is a lock to be a high round pick which he will not be.

I'm with ya. For his sake I hope he goes. For the love of the dawgs I hope he stays. I really don't see how his stock can increase very much even if he plays much better which I suspect he will since he has improved dramatically each year since coming to UGA! We shall see.

They are some smooth sons of bitches if they convince him he's going to refine anything while playing LSU, Clemson, Carolina, and florida in the same year

I value statistics as one measure of evaluating play. I give even more weight to intangibles such as leadership, decision making and personal development.

I told everyone that in a thread a few days ago...If Murray WANTS to try and make it in the NFL...his draft stock will never be higher than this year, assuming we win out or just keep it close to Bama in the SECCG.

Reasoning: Coming back next year will do nothing for him as we our going to have to replace almost our entire Defense. This WILL cost us a few games (in upwards of 3-4) as it will be a "rebuilding year". Going into the draft as the QB of the SEC winner or even runner up will net him more money than the QB of a rebuilding GA team that won't sniff the SECCg next year.

If Murray's true goal is to get to the leagues, then he should jump now. If he doesn't care and is willing, like some said, to sell insurance for the rest of his life, then coming back would be his best option.

I'd like to see how the draft board feelers come back.

I think he will sell more insurance if he has NFL QB on his résumé. He should definitely go if he gets the chance.

Zeire, Greene and Shock are comparable in talent, although they didn't leave early.

Get Paid! It's a tough world kid.
