It didn’t really sink in until I watched this video courtesy of CBS and The Senator’s blog. Hell, I got choked up watching it.
How could these idiots screw this up so badly the we lose the CBS 3:30 game? This sucks!

Yeah, frick Sankey and CBS for screwing the pooch on this. SEC on CBS has been a thing as long as I can remember.

This fricking sucks man. If that GT game is the expectation moving forward, Sankey and the SEC fricked up BIG TIME. Viewership will definitely decrease due to the length/commercials. It almost killed MLB.

Say what you want about Sankey, but he's not the one who screwed that deal up. It was CBS. The deal SEC had on the table with cbs was much better for cbs than what they ended up signing with b12. Pooches were screwed, by cbs.

Agreed. Forgot that CBS drug their feet on the deal and got a worse deal.

I can't even remember the big UGA 3:30 or SEC game being on another network. I can't recall who the announcers were in the 90's - it may have been Brent Musberger. Bummer. I like their announcing crew despite everyone hating on Gary Danielson. He gives a lot of sharp analysis. Then of course Vern Lundquist was great. They did such a great job with series.
