Good post.
It is common for centers to work at guard (usually RG) before the starting spot opens at C. Hill was our RG in the SECCG (4th string) back in 2018.
I was thinking that was the case. Thanks for clarifying my thoughts for me. These days that is a full time job!

It looks as if Broderick Jones injury isn't too severe. He should be ready by fall camp
Jones is not expected to miss significant practice time.
If there is indeed a 2020 season, he should be ready to practice and potentially earn playing time during fall camp.
The timelines shared with DawgNation was this would be a two-week to a four-week injury.
The most consistent timeline shared over the last two days was a four-week recovery.
DawgNation was told the former Under Armour All-American did not suffer any bone, ligament, or muscle damage.
We can not confirm that it was a motorcycle or an ATV accident. There was the possibility suggested by one source that the accident took place while Jones was riding a motorized scooter and not a traditional motorcycle.

Smart provided some positive injury news by stating that freshman offensive tackle Broderick Jones, a former five-star prospect out of Lithonia High School (Lithonia, Ga.), is back at full strength after an incident this offseason involving a motor bike. He sustained a lower leg injury but has recovered.

I caught a couple reps of him during a drill in one of the team YouTube vids. Looks like he is moving great.

So excited about him. He reminds me a lot of Tyron Smith with the cowboys. Potential to be massive but with a narrow waist and athletic
