Back to Waffle House-

I went today around noon, and the A-Team is normally working this shift, and they were, but our waitress was fresh off the boat. She had no clue about shite, and her co-workers weren't really helping her. My kid got bacon on his cheese steak, which was not ordered, and we specifically said No Bacon. So he picked the bacon off and I just added it to my BEC sandwich. She was too flustered for me to get the mayo packet, and slow on the tea refills. I felt bad for her. She didn't fill out the ticket correctly, charging us about half of what it should have been. One of the regular waitresses (who knows us) rung us up, then excoriated the new waitress in perfect Spanish.

No data-mining occurred today. I failed my mission. But I'll be back at store 1704 same time next Sunday, and see what I can get on the oil/grease situation in the year of our Lord 2026.

this is kinda mostly unrelated to the topic at hand, but it made me reminisce. When I was at UGA living in Creswell they used to have badass hash browns similar to Waffle house pretty often, but for a stretch they disappeared. One night I was pretty liquor drunk and emailed the head of food services J Michael Floyd and politely asked him what was going on. To my surprise he responded and said that the supplier had a brief delay but they'd be back soon, however he did also inform me that UGA gets the exact same ones that waffle house does. So if you're eating the scattered hash browns in a UGA dining hall it's from the exact same source as you'd be eating at waffle house.

Creswell didn't have a dining hall, so I assume you are talking about Bolton.

awesome. Right next to the dining hall (THAT'S BOLTON DINING HALL TO REITERATE) and the closest down of all the big dorms so not as far of an uphill walk after class.
