2010-2011 season. Mark Fox’s second year. Had Leslie, Thompkins, Thornton

SEC is brutal. Gotta win the home games and this one is winnable for us. Should be a good matchup tonight on ESPN2

First time I’ve been excited about UGA basketball in a long time this team depending on which game they bring looks like it can beat anyone

Yeah I think we were 25 for like one week lol.

7.5 point favorites tonight. Not sure about it, OU has a good team and they are desperate for a win.

Next two are @ 1 UT and 2 Auburn. If nothing else, they may boost us in the rankings this cycle to hype those matchups up

Does anybody know how or why Marcus Thornton made it on the big mural wall? Like of all the guys that have played for UGA basketball, why him to make the cut? I've always found that pretty odd

Guessing cause he was the leading scorer and averaged almost a double-double on the last team to make the NCAA tournament?

Definitely wouldn’t be on the Mount Rushmore of UGA basketball (probably not even 3rd team) though.

I think it was because he was our best player at the time mural went up (or had just been our best player the season before).

All a moot point now as that god awful decision is set to come down in the near future

So every game but Auburn

I think we can drop a couple against top teams at home, just need to win 1 or 2 against the bottom half on the road to make up for it. We make the Dance if we got .500 or a game below in SEC play with our schedule.

Feel like we need to leave no doubt to committee. Especially with a shot load of SEC teams that will be around the bubble.

I would love that, just setting expectations so people dont flip when we lose a few this season

Going to need this win massively tonight. Our next two games are @ Tennessee and Auburn at home. Going to be extremely difficult just to get to 1-1

That's putting it mildly. Even the most head in the clouds disnet dawg around would surely have us penciled in 0-2 in those before the season, but thats ok. Those games won't be why we miss the tourney, should we miss it.

But I do agree tonight is big ..we need to hold serve as much as possible at home since road wins in the sec this year are going to be few and far between

Auburn just lost one of their best players at least for a while so that game becomes easier but still nothing is a guarantee including tonight

Feels like OU is gettable right now and that’s really what it comes down to - win the gettable games, especially those at home. If we can steal a UK, Auburn, or Tennessee along the way then that just helps margin for error.

easier to think of those as 0-2 and everything will be alright
