dangfly! is damn good. the guy on the far right, scotty nicholson, is one of the best musicians i have ever heard. can play piano, guitar at an all time level. good stuff.

The best part of the night was sitting in the driveway in the twilight after mommy took the sleepy kid inside to bed and I got to eat his leftover peanut butter crackers while listening to the crickets and tree frogs. Someone should make a song out of that.

They were the best, in my opinion.
Scotty phoned in a few of his solo's. But he was clearly a talented man.
Scotty's telecaster was played through a Fender Deluxe, a very fine and expensive amplifier.
The lead guy with the red epiphone was playing through a fender twin reverb.
Based on the outward appearance of both amps, I would bet they are re-issues and not originals.
But they both sounded good.

It’s called “Aqueous Transmission”, by Incubus. At least, the last 5+ minutes are just crickets, frogs, and various other ambient wildlife noises. I was really high the first time I heard it and it was pretty trippy.

Well, it’s probably been a decade or more since I listened to the song, so my memory is a little fuzzy. I remember it being a lot longer than 1 minute, though.
