Eh...we won't destroy them 65-0....we'll let them come down and score a couple of late TDs against the cheerleaders and the final score will end up 38-23. And this of course will cause a panic, at least on this, and a few other, forums.

GS will have modest numbers, Frazier will only rush for about 63 yards and Griffin will have the games one and only sack and everyone will start showering down the doom-and-gloom, like they always do when we have that sorta game against a nobody team....like we do most years. (Yawn). It won't be until we mop the floor with Oklahoma (who will be in the top 5 after beating Michigan) that everyone snaps out of it and gets on board with the championship talk.

Let games begin!!

I think it’s a 49-17 type game

Shouldn’t be insanely difficult

I guess I'm less pessmistic than DarinDawg. That was sort of a buzzkill.

Maybe the Western Kentucky game. But probably this one. Tennessee State went 0-8 last season in the OVC. We have way fewer question marks heading into this season than we did last season. Gunner is way more comfortable heading into this season opener. Our defense is way more settled.

The odds of Georgia winning by at least 30.5 ponts on Kalshi right now is 93 percent, and that's as low as the odds go.

But I'm sure the game thread will turn to shite if we have a 3 and out on offense at any point in the first half. One of these seasons I'm going to wean myself off of the game threads on here lol.

any score even remotely close to that spells bad, bad news for our season.

I'm going something like 48-10 or something. And only that margin because 1) kirby never RUTS in these kind of games and 2) we will let teh 3rd stringers play the whole 4th quarter and just fart around.

In 2018 we could've beat Austin Peay 100-0 but the total was 45-0 with a running clock for a lot of the 2nd half. I'm thinking something kinda like that.

We were about a 50 point favorite against Nichols State in Kirby's first season. Finished 8-5. It's 48 against Tennessee State.

Beat Tennessee State by two touchdowns on Saturday and I'll be predicting a 9-4 season. It would be awful. Tennessee State was winless last season in their 1-AA conference.

I’m hoping we’re half way home by that point, listening to the end on WSB. We won’t cover that ginormous spread but should cruise. (Just read we have never covered a 40 + spread in Kirby’s tenure, which speaks to his tendency to not play Josh Heupel and run up the score.)
