Our current RPI is 70 right now FWIW

I think as long as they win their first game in the tourney they should be in. Look at it this way, if Gators sweep which seem pretty safe, no SEC school is getting in just for winning the SEC Championship. At that point figure 4 SEC schools get in, and Dawgs should be one of them.

Eh pretty much everyone that is an "expert" on the matter disagrees with you.
I think it's possible if we beat UK(and it has to be UK, not LSU or Bama), but I still don't think it looks good unless we win the championship

Yea, I wish he was right but it's gonna take two wins IMO (with one most likely needing to be Kentucky).
I know it's been said many times, but if we could reverse just one of our bad losses from November (Georgia Tech, Temple, Davidson) we'd probably have an RPI around 60 right now and this discussion would be a good bit different.

Pretty sure it's the exact opposite of what you just said, unless they've changed it in the last year or two.

Funny you should mention that. The 247 guys went to the hypothetical RPI site and changed only our two home losses to wins (GT with no Morris and Vandy with no Gaines) and our loss to Nebraska (7th place game in Charleston Classic) to a win to see what our RPI would have been. It ended up being 35. Wow.

Dang. I'm sure most schools in the talk could make similar arguments but that's painful.
