Not sure why thays directed only at bama fans, it was pretty much general consensus at the time. When he left bama he was dreadful as a passer and thats not really debatable. He was an athlete playing the QB position that would much rather run than throw.
Much like stetson in 21 and 22 he changed the narrative and showed he could do things people didn't expect. But it's not like someone should be called an idiotic dumbass for thinking in 2017/2018 that hurts wouldn't be an NFL QB. Anyone with eyes would've said the same thing at the time.

The professional football playoffs were so good last year it makes sense that they’d all be duds this year. Hopefully Dallas can make this one interesting

It seems like all the Bama QBs were better when they had 2 first round receivers to throw to tho.
