I never said they'd win a SB this year. If they don't it won't be because of Ryan though. Can't run the ball and can't stop the run.

They will remain pretenders until 2 things take place

1. We need to solidify the OL, more specifically Konz needs to continue to progress or GTFO. I know he's a rookie but honestly if he is not capable of getting better on a week to week basis he needs to ride the pine. His past 3 performances have just been piss poor, period.

2. As many have stated the lack of any real threat in the running game is starting to catch up with us. Lets face it The Burner is done and it's time for a new guy to step in and assume that role. Quiz is a phenomenal athlete no doubt but he is just not capable of being the primary guy back there due to size. I'm not saying we need another "power" back but we definitely need someone who is of a larger stature.

Matt Ryan will never get us a Super Bowl ring. Just not elite. Pressure him, and he's fricked. Add our lack of rushing threat as of late, and we're out in the first round again.

you guys are crazy.

If the falcons are a pretender in the NFC, then who isn't a pretender? Gaints, GB, SF??? They all have just as much problems as the faLcons, plus they all lost more games than the falcons.

And M. Ryan doesn't have a weak arm either. He doesn't have the strongest, but its far from the weakest in the NFL. And M. Ryan has made many many clutch throws this season.

big deal we lost to the panthers, i'm kinda glad we lost. Maybe the falcons will use the loss as a postive and start peaking to the super bowl.

And what QB does good when they are under constant pressure.......anyone remember the GB/NYG game back in wk 12, how did A. Roders do??

our most two recent playoff loses came to the eventually superbowl champs (GB and NYG). I think this could be the year we turn the corner. Our offense is nasty, but a better running game would make us unstoppable.

Don't mind the game on Sunday, that was just a bump in the road.

We will be ready for the Giants and the players wanna get that monkey off their backs in the playoffs.
