Maybe if Meadows and Sullivan were healthy it’d be more even but Vandy is flat out better than us.
Got a bad feeling we get swept at home. Think this took everything physically and emotionally out of a team that has already played an extra game this week. Not a bad loss on its own (quite the contrary) but this one may linger. Hope I’m wrong

Holy moly man. I don't think losing an extra inning game means the world is ending. Why are you making the leap they are flat better? Without a 9th inning pinch hit homer they lose. Cmon dude.

Because I watched the game? Vandy has a lot of confidence and experience at the plate whereas the bottom of our order is young and virtually useless (Rogers being the exception after finally notching 2 hits). Our pitching is keeping us competitive but not sure how CJ Smith is going to stack up today and if Locey continues to have control issues, burning through Schunk yesterday was not good with a depleted bullpen. Kristofak can come back as can Glover but by comparison Vandy has a deep bullpen. I’m not sure we can generate the offense to hang with a Vandy team that hits very well 1-9.

I hear you, but we're obviously a good team. We have weak spots like everyone, but we're still a good team. I just think giving up on the series after losing an extra inning game is a little much. cj and locey both have the stuff to stifle Vandy,and the top of our lineup can score runs on anyone. They deserve the benefit of the doubt I think.

Never said we weren’t a good team - still think we are top 4 in conference with an outside shot at winning it - but I think we are in danger of getting swept this series for the reasons I listed plus the fact that today will be game 4 in 5 days with a depleted roster and one more to go tomorrow. We need or A game and I’m not sure that we’re going to have it. Again, hope I’m wrong but wouldn’t be surprised

i never implied you thought we werent good. just from my perspective, we are obviously a good team...good teams find a way to win. was last night our best shot? probably, but i just didnt agree with thinking the next two games were slam dunk losses. just a different viewpoint that's all.
