Definitely seems like it. It was a hell of a series.

Winning the LSU series was our first against them since 2011.

23-1 is our best record in 24 games since 2009. As a reminder, that 09 team flames out in the Tallahassee regional against Ohio State and FSU so this hardly means big things are going to happen. Still, Dawgs are actually in contention for the for the conference after two SEC series on the road and at home against historically powerful opponents so plenty of reason to be excited.

We have Tech Tuesday and Kentucky this weekend. A 4 win week is absolutely doable but we will see what a combination of injuries and focus does for the team. Beyond that, series against Vandy at home and at Miss st in late April loom very large on the schedule.

Injury wise, Meadows is going to be out for at least a week if not more as he has facial fractures (eye is said to be ok which is the main thing). Would have to get used to playing with a mask like Schunk had last postseason at the catcher spot which isn’t the easiest thing.
Sullivan is on concussion protocol so no telling when he will be back (Chaney Rogers has done wel in his absence).
Ryan Webb and Will Proctor will sit out again this week with arm soreness but are planned to be back full go for Vandy.
