Dare to dream but with hancock and Wilcox back next year and if Locey were to stay for his senior year... that’s an all time great weekend staff for us

Error by 2nd base gives us a runner on first but a DP ends the top of 4.

So they don’t get Talley at 2nd but Meadows is out at 1st
Meadows likely would have been safe at 1st but he didn’t run it out all the way because he thought he’d hit the ball off his foot

Cable flies out to end the top half of the 4th butbhas another good at bat shedding pitches off this freshman. Carolinas pitcher has thrown a maximum of 60 pitches in his longest start to date and he is now at 50 on the night. Their bullpen is in some dire straits as a result of a plague of injuries

Friday night game in particular are pretty fast because of the quality of the pitching. More strikes, quicker game

Ugh. 2 out walk followed by a liner to left has trouble brewing in the 4th for Hancock

Hancock freezes the batter for K number 8! Dawgs survive the 4th with the lead.
Hancock’s now at 65+ pitches. Hopefully he can make it at least 6 but Stricklin has been insistent on keeping him to a strict pitch count of 90-95 early in the year to preserve him for April and the SEC tourney

E6 puts runner on first. Single puts runners on 1st and 2nd. Schunk drives a gapper to deep right plates 2. Dawgs up 1-4, knocks out the starter Sweatt.
