obvivously he will eventually be our friday starter but for this season, what is the ceiling? Work him up to Saturday and switch him with locey, or just leave him as a dependable sunday guy?

He’s likely just going to be a Sunday guy this season unless he really comes on strong. His talent is plainly evident but he seems to be similar to Locey as a freshman where he can get irritated and start to overthrow.

Wilcox goes 3 full innings and gives way to Darryn Pasqua in the 4th. Pasqua is a sophomore but did not play baseball last year (not sure why or how that is the case but oh well)

My guess is because he already threw a couple of innings on Wednesday and we will probably see him again on Tuesday or Wednesday this upcoming week
