I already said it on the rant game thread, but...all you fellas were right Holyfield is better than Herrien. I am fricking ecstatic to be wrong. The kid looks strong.

Anyone else want to see Eason throw the ball around? I think he at least deserves a chance to sling it a little bit at this point.

My only thing with him is that will he be ok with being the 3rd or 4th option for the next three years. He can start and shine at 120 of the 130 programs in 1A. Will he get discouraged with 5ish touches a game?

Gary Danielson making a great point about the Eason situation and the lack of an offensive line last year

Letting foot off has too early. It’s just the principle of the thing.

Eason didn't have a ton of help last year but in those situations, you as a QB have to step up and lead your team. He never really acted like a leader of the team.

Yeah...I think they should have let him throw it a little.

I don't want to see Eason throw it at this point just because we have our 2nd and 3rd stringers in there getting reps. If we are going to risk stopping the clock on passing plays, I'd prefer it be with our 1st string receivers.

Don't care one bit. We kept them out of the endzone when it truly mattered.

I hate they scored but I’d hate much worse to see someone like 78 or 3 getting carried off the field.

It's annoying that we let them score but the good news is that we're getting playing time for our backups.

I'm beyond pissed that we blew the shutout. I hate everyone associated with florida and wanted this to be the biggest beatdown they've ever seen. Shutout would have been so nice.

Exactly. We scored all of the game's first 42 points and gave them a Spurrier type of blowout loss.

Anyone not happy with a 35 point win over the Gators is just petty at this point.
