It sounds like this isn't the first time he's had anger issues (smashed her cell phone previously). At his age, it may well be an entrenched problem. I bet he's gone and may have been gone before this latest incident.

Nah… we’re 10 years invested in his recruitment. We can’t give up now! The Legend of Seven Cloud lives on…

That's sad and funny at the same time. But his agent is gonna have to earn that money now.

4* WR Craig Dandridge got a huge bump from Rivals. From 236 to 76.
4* Oline Ekene Ogboko also got a Rivals bump. From 106 to 59.
As usual there will be a lot more changes in recruiting rankings.

I'm a little surprised that Corey Howard hasn't gotten a rating upgrade. Maybe they're evaluating him as a pure edge rusher, but looks more like a well rounded defensive end to me. On video he's not pinning his ears back like a lot of these high profile edge rushers; he's playing a disciplined role more suited to a 3 down player. 6'5 and a half, 260 plus this offseason, and moves well. Only has one season that I can find, but his junior film reminds me of a raw version of Mykel Williams.

He is extremely too light. He needs to add 30 pounds to his 6'6.

I agree and he needs to get to work in the weight room if he wants to bull rush like Mykel. Won't ever be a 5 star, but watching video makes me think he might be underrated.

It’s almost like you can predict where the money takes a person now

May as well post public rates by position and just see what you catch since a check stroked in 10 days trumps any amount of plane trips over of 6 years. Save that recruiting budget, post your rate, save the energy

Now remember Derek as a teachable moment, this will cost you .5 of your 1.5 so stay grounded

Per Graham Coffey, Cooper took 9 visits to Miami. 6 to Georgia. A handful to Auburn and I think Alabama. He took 1 to Texas. Lmao.

With in reason I think Kirby can make many 3-4 star dline and LBErs into round 1-2 monsters. It's our system.

It'll be interesting to see how teams like Texas and Miami justify these "NIL" deals to the new Deloitte clearinghouse fair market review process. Or maybe interesting to see if these new rules have any teeth at all. Texas is gonna pay more than market value unless somehow forced to stop.

I think Texas, Miami, and USC are essentially calling the bluff of the whole Deloitte thing. Like maybe they have power and maybe they don’t. Let’s test it. And if we get a slap on the wrist after buying a Natty then who cares it was worth it.

This “new ruling” isn’t gonna stop shite. Boosters will still find a way to get the best players.

Heard George Lamons Jr. has de-committed from A&M. He’s another one of these hybrid TE/WR’s. Extremely athletic. We seem to be making a hard push on this one.

Not sure any of those three can buy a championship with their current coaches.

Maybe not. The ROI on current "NIL" spending will be low for lots of reasons. Even if you sign the #1 class every year, it's hard for any coach to transform those newly wealthy 18 year olds into a group of team players and good citizens. They all think they're budding stars and can turn into team destroying malcontents when that doesn't happen. At that age, they're not as coachable when they earn more than the man yelling at them on the practice field and can leave at the drop of a hat. Differences in salary will inevitably turn into locker room discord. And the hangers-on will be legion and problematic.

I'm a lot more relaxed about Georgia's season outcomes. Even with a coach as good as Kirby there are too many new ways for things to go sideways. Somebody has to win the championship, but cfb will be a mess of nasty dealings until it becomes somewhat regulatable again, if it ever does.

The only way is for Washington to get involved but many think it’s an overreach of power. I think they need to considering the NCAA is useless and coaches don’t have the balls to call this BS what it is… fricking bullshite.

Can you imagine how a 5th year senior getting $50k is going to react to a freshman OT who just got $2M? Locker room poison.

sark is, IMO, the 2nd best coach in america behind kirby. I'm not sure what you may have seen that would make you think that he can't win it all with a stupidly stocked roster of elite talent.
