Gonna have to try to foul some balls off and work this pitch count up, otherwise we’re gonna be at risk of a complete game shut out.

You know the pitching has been good cause it’s only been an hour of game time and we are already 4.1 innings into this thing

Vigue hits a batter and issues a 5 pitch walk but again manages to escape without any damage. Likely his last inning but he at least got through 5 full with only 1 hit and 1 run while walking 5 and hitting 2.

Wes does the thing he needs to stop doing, sends Vigue back out in the 6th when it’s clear he was spent in the 5th.

Branch strikes out and Ishikawa grounds out to end the inning. But we are tied at 1 through 7 and Valincius now sits at 90 pitches
