Crazy team, like a box of chocolates, never know what you are going to get.

Wes needs to have 50 foot tall foul poles installed in the off-season....

Here we go…

Kolten in trouble in the 5th with bases loaded and nobody out on two singles and an HBP

Entered this inning with a no hitter and only 54 pitches

6-0 Dawgs. For now.

Well Alford is trying to get himself drafted. Fantastic double play, 5-3. Run scores but gets us some breathing room.

Of course, Smith gives up a 2 out double and another HBP right after so now it’s 6-2 Dawgs with 2 out and runners on 1st and 2nd.

Wes bringing the hook for Kolten. Radtke coming in.

Radtke walks em loaded but gets a fly out to center to end the inning and strand 3 Sooners.

6-2 Dawgs in the 5th

Alford and Zabo draw leadoff walks in the 5th

Phelps launches a scud missle toward the Atlantic with some serious doo doo

9-2 Dawgs

And Radtke gives up a run.

Hammond gives up 2 more on a 2 out double.

9-5 Dawgs in the 6th because our bullpen has decided putting teams away isn’t fun, just holding serve so we can come up short on comebacks

I swear to God I will consider quitting supporting this team if we blow this.

Zabo strands 2 with a fly out to right.

Hammond exits in the 7th after putting 2 runners on with nobody out.

Stephens in the game.

9-5 Dawgs

If you want to know how we got here:

Oklahoma has outhit us 7-6 in this game. They did not record a hit until the 5th inning. We are in the 7th.

Bullpen just an abomination today.

10-9

Getting squeezed at the plate, King boots a dohble play, and misses a grounder that scores 2 with bases loaded and 2 out

Had to hve that win. Ugly but… maybe? Maybe it gives us something to build on?

I think we are all used to MLB and College baseball is so different from a pitching perspective. No leads are safe and most games have 15 or 20 runs combined.

To a degree but it’s maddening when we seemingly settled into our pitching over the laat month only to revert to bad form today when the bats finally awoke
