Hard to decide whether this has been an overachieving team who finally settled or a waste of talent. There is a lack of professional talent, but a lot of college talent. The Obee splits between Duke last year and UGA this year on the broadcast were laughably bad.

This team found ways to win, scoring 20 the day before did not help us focus on Duke a power hitting team loaded with lefty pitching. They also put fielded us.

We managed to get a lot of hits though that we couldn’t put together. Seems like the guys that choked up on the bat and protected the plate vs swinging at away pitches did well…just weird how drastically different it was this season….lefty vs righty and home vs away
