Obee reached on a walk and Branch singled but McCarthy hit into yet another double play and Burnett grounds out to end the threat.
We have hit into at least 5 or 6 double plays in only 2.2 games

We’re making contact is the good thing. But we’ve run into a weird weather environment with wind killing anything in the air (for everyone; UNCW had a guarantee HR killed by the wind) and opposing teams are making exception plays on the infield to limit anything on the ground. Basically if we aren’t lining everything into the gaps or up the gut, we’re not advancing runners. And even then, we’ve still managed 16 runs in 2 games - just not looking efficient when opportunity arises
