Tentatively scheduled to resume suspended game at 5 today but there’s doubt that’ll happen

UGA/Bama won’t play today, as predicted. The two teams will attempt to complete the suspended game Sunday morning at 10 a.m. CT (11 ET), followed by Game 3 which will be only 7 innings.

Probably the best thing for UGA at this point trailing in game 2 that won’t be counted. Still have a chance at the 2 seed in Hoover

Jackson steals 2nd. Now has 10 HR and 10 Steals, joining Obee and Burnett with double digit homers and steals.
Hunter with a single to right. Runners on the corners with 1 out.
Hunter attempts the steal but is thrown out. Jackson 3rd with 2 out
McCarthy HBP. Could’ve been bases loaded.

Phelps lines out to right. Nice sliding catch on what would have been a double. We’re not gonna be allowed to win this game
Branch doubles into the left field gap. Burnett holds at 3rd. 2 on, 1 out
Black hits a sac fly to right. Runs scores, Branch to 3rd. 1 on, 2 out
Brown strikes out swinging. He’s going to be our starter at 3B for at least the next 2 years but he has a ways to go to catch up to SEC pitching (not his fault, he’s barely played this year)

We lost the game in the 5th and 6th when we stranded Phelps, Jackson, and Branch in scoring position
Just need to get through the 8th and 9th as quickly as possible so we can maximize Finley in Game 3 before rain delays things again

I think we would have taken Game 2 pretty handily without interference from weather.
Bama threw their 2 best bullpen arms to secure that win.
If we can get psg their lefty starter in Game 3, we can absolutely jump on them. We’ve hit really well in this series so far
