Instead of throwing on to first on the Comebacker, he basically raced the hitter to the bag and seemed to be staring him or the State dugout down the whole way.
Preceding that, Kolby and Black were talking shite to a base runner who seemed to slide in aggressively which they’ve done a few times today in collisions with Kolby.

Once again, we have 1 inning in which 9 runs are scored and only 1 run scored in the other 8. Just a whacky way to play a baseball game but we have a pattern.

I’ve watched a shitload of baseball in my life but i just can’t come up with a comparison for this Georgia season

It’s just… bizarre to see every single arm we put out there early in a game struggle while virtually every other facet of the game is in good shape. Doesn’t matter who we throw, we’re going to give the other side at least 3 runs house money to play with. I don’t understand why it’s happening or how you fix it.

And on cue, Goldstein has retired 5 batters in a row including 3 Ks.
It’s like we just aren’t comfortable as a staff or as a team playing any other way than from behind. We can’t mentally settle in until we’ve given up a big inning. I just don’t get it.
