He needs to be our everyday 2B
He and Kolby in the middle is an outstanding defensive pair
Challenge is how do you fit McCarthy, Obee, Phelps, and Burnette into the outfield when you’ve got Zabo, Jackson, and Hunter each vying for the 1B/C/DH spots (plus guys like Adams, Parker, and Brown commanding some ABs)
Good problem to have

17 now and it’s over. bats are alive so far. Gonna be sick when Phelps gets it together. Lot of chances before SEC play to figure out some sort of pitching order and a lineup. Nice we will have some plug and play when players are slumping.

Phelps going oppo from an inside pitch is pretty impressive. Dude is so strong.

Dawgs trail GSU 3-0 in the 5th
Zach Harris got the start, gave up a double and triple in the second when all 3 runs were scored.
Dawgs hve pitched Harris, Farley, Zeldin, and now McLoughlin in what has become a staff game.
On the other side, GSU is pitching a guy with a 1.59 ERA and their offense came in having scored 67 runs in 7 games with a team BA of .311. Didn’t realize they were 6-1 on the year.
So, perfect time for us to get punked midweek.
