We have 10 strikeouts tonight through only 6 innings. And these guys aren’t scrubs; they all hit wel last year. I’ve got no explanation for how they’re all collectively scuffling at the plate right now

Wes gets tossed after he takes issue with Clavon being assessed a strike for taking too long to get in the box.

Two things gonna feel true at once after this game:
1. We’ve got a lot of work to do to live up to our current ranking
2. This whole set up at KSU is bush league at best, from the ump crew to the field being total shite to the lights barely illuminating the outfield. I get we needed to kill time to let the construction wrap up but we should’ve taken one look at this place and cancelled.
