Saturday just got a second game added for 5:30 PM. May be to avoid rain on Sunday

Yeah it just wasn’t officially on the schedule until recently. Garrett Brown will start the early Saturday game, Sully the late game. Cannon and Ross in their usual spots with Davis Rokose starting Tuesday against Wofford in Greenville

wait I'm confused. I thoguth adding the 2nd game on Saturday was to avoid playing at all on Sunday. But the above makes it seem like it's just an extra/4th game?

As of now they’ve just added a 4th game. However, it’s possible Sunday gets rained out. Think they’re just hedging and if we get 4 games then that’s a bonus

Cannon plays with fire in the 8th on a leadoff single, wild pitch, sac bunt but manages to knock out the next 2 batters. Great play by Cole Tate on the final out of the inning

Dawgs win it in a squeaker, 1-0. Great outing by Cannon but piss poor performance offensively despite 5 hits and the win.

At the end of 5, Dawgs lead 4-0.
Offense still sputtering, showing some signs of life.
5 hits in the 4th inning netted 2 runs, 5 walks in the 5th reeled in 2 more.
Pitching... Sullivan gives way to Pearson in top of 6th.
Pearson gives up singles to first 2 batters. Picks off runner at 2nd. 1-4-5. 1 down. Then gets a 6-4-3 DP to end top 6th.
Offense still sputtering, showing some signs of life.
