Was that 17 up to the plate? Not sure I’ve ever seen us bat through twice, even in midweek blowouts

I wasn’t happy about starting Cannon yesterday and not happy Sully came back out….
Like, if you let him pitch after a 45 min rest, means you probably woulda felt comfortable pitching him tomorrow
He didn’t thrown many there, so might still be able to pitch again if we pull him now…just seems like a lot on the arm to rest that long and throw again vs shutting down

I believe the only run rule that can exist in the tournament is if both coaches agree to it and even getting blown out, Hofstra isn’t going to forfeit their last game of the year. They’ll play their bench and let their seniors get as many ABs as they can

Kinda figured. Was hoping for a couple of extra innings of rest before we sweep the day tomorrow.

Would’ve been ideal but understandably no coach is going to tap out in an elimination game

Coleman Willis comes on in the 8th and goes 7 pitches for 3 outs. Efficient.
Sully went 7 full with only 4 hits and 1 run allowed. Would hve liked to have thrown him less and used him again later but i suppose with our bullpen there is no guarantee any one guy can come in and not force us to use more arms than we would like.
