We’re losing by 2 but should note that Crisp has been a pleasant surprise these past few weeks. Has given up 3 runs in 7 hits tonight with 3 Ks and only 1 BB through 6 full. That’s a quality start against the #1 team in the country on the road.

Yup. Can’t be stressed enough. These Vols lead in almost every offensive category too.
Also, pretty crazy stat. UT is fielding .980 as a team despite their 3rd baseman with an under .900 fielding percentage

Solo shot off Polk in the 7th makes it 4-1.
With Tennessee’s arms, you can about close the book on Game 1. If we’re going to notch a win this weekend, it’ll need to be an A game from Cannon and Gowen tomorrow

Damn, thought Rokose was gonna get out of it. Struck out 2, then had 3rd 0-2 count before an RBI single 5-2 vols going to the 9th
