3morereps is correct. Video at 1. Expect UGA.

I believe that Georgia has already been working the NCAA appeal for a couple of weeks, but typically they take a while to announce things. At this point, I think the feeling is that he is most likely to be eligible in 2019.

Would love to see us pull off a miracle and get him for 2018! He is a scary talented dude that would give us a true WR1

What was his injury and would he be 100% for 2018 if given opportunity?

All I can find is surgery for "lower body injury" and soft tissue damage.

Surgery to repair a sports hernia. If eligible in 2018, would assume 100%.

Anyone know if this effects Haselwood and Blaylock?

Won't change anything with those guys.

If anything, it may stop us from taking a third WR for this class, but that was always dependent on having an elite talent lined up anyway.

WRs typically take time to adapt to college game. Haselwood and Blaylock are exciting talents, but neither should be expected to step is as a true number 1 in their freshman campaign. DRob fills that void immediately. By far the most talented receiver on the roster and a likely first round pick when he comes out.

Kirby continuing to play chess...

Do most believe he’ll have to sit out this year or is there a slim chance he plays?

At this point it's in the NCAAs hands, so basically, no one knows what will happen. Georgia has been working the situation hard though. If he can't play in 2018, it won't be because UGA left any stone unturned.

Would be pretty awesome to see Swift, Godwin, Mecole, DRob and Nauta on the field together. An all-5* skill lineup.

No one really knows. What we do know is that the NCAA considers circumstances that have changed since in the student athlete entered college and the student's expected day to day involvement in the care taking of the relative, amongst other things.

I don't know enough about the situation to know if he meets those criteria.

If it were me, I'd have attorneys putting legal and prescedent pressure on the NCAA. Now that it's public, I would also line up a PR firm to get publicity on the situation and make the NCAA look like shite for not letting the kid play.

Can't disagree but we've never had the balls to challenge the NCAA...look @ AJ Green,Todd Gurley, etc
and it always seems we get screwed by em.Hopefully a new day with CKS but Mcgarity is still a big pussy.

Not the same institutional philosophy any more...we are "all in".
