Absolutely. Rodgers made his living being the best out of the pocket scrambler QB. With the trend in the NFL, you’re gonna need that. Tua and Fields fit that mold esp when if consider the OL protecting them might be suspect.

You lost me with that. Don't tell me Tua isn't a dual threat QB. He is and you know it.
Well, Alabama has played 6 games and Tua has run the ball 23 times. Now, you can argue that he is a dual thread because he can run, but Alabama is not using him as a dual threat, which negates the argument that Alabama is recruiting dual threats because of their added dimension.
ON the other hand, it could be argued that the threat is still there and that makes him dangerous. But is he dual threat if he is not running, and is there a real advantage if he is not running?

I am showing 122 yards on 23 carries. Maybe you are counting last years stats, too?

It’s clear one is a much bigger threat with his feet than the other.
Possibly, but I am thinking your stats are taking sacks into consideration? But, yes, I would say both Fields and Tua are both better runners, but does thta make them dual threats? I mean, where do you draw the line? Does Fromm become a dual threat if his statistics are much better than another QB's?
I think a much better yard stick would be how they compare on a national basis in yardage gained against other QB's. I don't have time to look it up right now, but maybe I can do that next week, or if you have time maybe you could check it out?

I doubt you would find any reasonable person thta would classify Rodgers as a dual threat.
Jamious Winston, Mariota, Deshaun Watson....probably. But not Rodgers.
Maybe somebody need to give a good definition of what a dual threat is?
This is looking like yet another thread that probably needs to be put into a separate thread, though. This discussion could go for several pages.

Jameis Winston...
Dual threat QB?
Maybe.
But certainly not a "coach on the field"

The only true DT in the SEC is Fields, Fitzgerald is highly inaccurate and I consider him one dimensional like Hurts.

He apparently isn't anymore. I am remembering him from his college days, and I think he ran more then.
Another possibility is I am wrong all the way around.
