This was our choice, so is Bertrand

Get Dean and Webb and nobody will care about Perry. No offense to Perry, but Kirby's got bigger fish to fry and limited spots left.

Let's just hope that Dom Blaylock stays. We need stud WRs.

Blaylock is locked in, but he hates it for his friend.

Looks like Webb trending up for the Dawgs and DJ Daniel back in play

The Perry decommitment has been in the works for a few weeks. Cine, Elam, Stevenson and Nick Cross are the top targets. Expect at least one more decommitment.

Who is the WR that has all of a sudden shown interest in us?

Seems kinda risky to process this kid with Blaylock being one of his boys. I hate doing this to local loyal commits even if they end up being average players. I know people have been talking about this for a while but i just don’t see the positives in unless we hit homeruns on DBs and we keep Blaylock who is now the big need at WR.

Not all "processings" are the same.
I think with in state kids, we are very honest with them and let them know that they will have a hard time earning playing time here and encouraging them to look around and keep options open.
It's a tough deal, but it's the price of recruiting at an elite level.
I think we are very solid with Blaylock. While I'm sure he hates it for his friend, I doubt he wavers in his choice.

Read on Reddit we wanted him to play safer but he wants to be CB. Mutual parting, but Cross is looking more and more likely

Agreed, especially considering the Haselwood decommittment. The problem with this is if you miss on getting someone you think is better, you put yourself in a hole.

Doubt we would do this if we didn't already have someone lined up.

Pickens I think
Yeah, it’s Pickens. No legit knowledge on this guy, but I can’t see him leaving the state of Alabama. I’ve read he may not even qualify but I could be wrong. He’s a monster though. I hope he stays with Auburn because we’ll have a chance with him after he transfers.
I’d expect us to turn up the heat on Ramel Keyton. He reminds me of Riley Ridley, good size, not the fastest guy, but super smooth.

Not if Field is names the starter
I doubt that would have much of an effect. I know i wouldn't let another kids playing time affect where I go to school. Why would it?
I get he wants us to throw the ball downfield more, but Fields becoming the starter would probably make us throw the ball downfield less. The coaches would want to give him plays that are safer meaning higher percentage throws and dumping off to check down receivers.
Add to that, that when Fields is in the game and has RPO plays he tends to pull the ball down and run.
Just my opinion, and I know a lot of people won't like it, but watch the plays when he is in the game. Yes, he has a lot of designed plays where it is designed for him to run. (Which backs up my position that he would not be throwing a lot) But watch when he drops back to pass. He pulls the ball down and runs. He isn't ready yet. He will be, but it isn't his time.
