I would love to have Cook (unless it makes Zeus back off his pledge for some reason) but I really don't understand why he would come to UGA. There is just so much talent in the backfield.

I get why kids go to Bama in that situation, considering all the titles. Maybe Kipp is just hedging his bets since the kid is already committed to FSU.

Smart on his part. Seems the lower ranked tandem backs always end up being the better. Atleast lately. Gurley/Chubb/Herrien

RB at UGA is a "glamour" position, plus Chubb and Sony will be moving on and leaving opportunity to be the man. As long as UGA keeps making RBs big stars and funneling them to the NFL, they'll keep showing up.

Most of these guys think they're the man. Getting beat out doesn't really cross their mind, especially at a position like RB where there is always a rotation.

Yea, I don't think of the backfield next year as something that's impregnable. Chubb and Michel are gone so it's really new guys vs who? Swift, Herrien and Holyfield? Holyfield hasn't really shown anyone anything to indicate that he's the favorite to be in the rotation let alone be a viable threat. I keep feeling like he may transfer one of these days. Swift hasn't played yet. Herrien is talented but I don't think he is going to scare off other guys. He has much more of a bit role feel to him, at least imo.

It's crowded but not insurmountable.

Also, FSU will have Cam Akers established by that point. Fisher tends to ride one guy more than UGA has, as Cook would know by watching his brother.

The RB class FSU just signed is absolutely nasty. While we will have a lot of talented guys in the backfield, with Chubb and Sony leaving we won't have anybody established, hard to ask for much more than that when you're looking at a big time SEC program. Also Dell is recruiting him, and if you haven't been paying attention he's kind of the man.

whenever someone doesn't pick a fans school, "they were bought!".

There are cases where it's BLATANT, but just saying it for every recruit that chooses another school is just being ignorant and foolish.

3 Bama CB's in on Wynn. Would suck to lose out on him being the leader for so long, but we can all freak out together once Rusty or Kipp corroborate the Bama guys. Until then, were getting er'body

The signs seem to be pointing to Wynn being Bama bound. After a good haul in '16, our inability to close with DTs has been remarkable. It's really early in the recruiting year, but Tray Scott has his work cut out for him this year with a huge position of need, and Wynn declaring for the Dark Lord tomorrow would not be a great start.

KJ Henry would cover a multitude of sins though.
