Bitcoin makes it possible.

I'm not suggesting Georgia paid money for Fields, just saying it is possible to do.

Hell, 50 Cent just found out he had over $7 million in Bitcoin from some album deal he had completely forgotten about.

I guess you could still make money on it, but from what I've read, it's huge rise has passed by. (Could be totally wrong).

Possibly. I'm an older guy, so I don't know how bitcoin works. As for 50 cent....most operations are required by law to report amounts over $10,000 being moved around. I'm not saying anything isn't possible. If there's a will, there's a way. Just saying it is a whole lot tougher than a lot of people think. For some reason the IRS wants their money, so they have laws for legitimate enterprises to follow to report money that changes hands. Typically, the thresh hold is $10,000.

Didn't Walker call it Carvell just the other day on twitter for tweeting out some bullshite story.

Carvell deleted it with a quickness.

Just for the record, Ohio St. has the #1 recruiting class based on the 247 Composite: 2018 247 Composite As such, the subject of this thread technically should be updated.

Is that really the best contribution you could come up with for this thread?

Also, we are still number one on rivals so it's technically still accurate.

Technically yes, but pretty much any one of our remaining targets would put us back at 1. And at this point, who gives a shite...we are already sitting pretty with a historic class.

I remember last summer looking at Ohio St so far ahead in these rankings and knowing without a doubt no one would catch them.

I disagree. I don’t agree with the downgrade of Trey Hill by Rivals or the mauling of Cade Mays, Cook, and others by 247. Don’t even get me started on ESPN.
At least they screwed every one over equally. 247 absolutely took into consideration that they were bumping our guys down to create some Signing Day drama. The UGA board over there is giving them hell through.

Just sharing the facts; trying to be objectively accurate.

As I said, based on the 247 Composite ranking which includes the other ranking services. It someone wants to edit the subject to: Now your #1 Ranked Class per Rivals then fine.

Why? Because, people come to the GSB to get accurate news. If they want to see who the crooks over at 247 moved to 1 with being basis, a quick search should do the trick.

UGA will finish first, OSU second, followed by BAMA.

Best class in UGA history. UGA is now fully committed

Otis Reese just tweeted "Athens." He tweeted under the name "O Dog." Maybe he chooses UGA.

In an age of fake news, truth/facts should not require a reason/explanation. Hopefully your predictions become reality.

Not at all. I was just talking about how committed the University is to the football team. Kirby made a ton of demands when he took the job and the school has really stepped up. Mark Richt never had this level of support.

This all leads to the recruiting class that we are signing. I know some folks at one of the high schools the Kirby copter visited and the whole school was buzzing about it. The coach and that School said UGA is 1000x more aggressive on the recruiting trail.

That is the difference between Smart and Richt. Richt and his staff seemed lazy in recruiting, allowing UGA and the football program to recruit itself. Smart seems relentless in recruiting. That's ultimately the difference between great coaches and good coaches, as well as great programs and merely good programs. Alabama and Nick Saban don't have 5 national titles without #1 recruiting classes stacked year after year.
