That's been the point I've made on the SECr. Big Country 2.0 for sure.

That's disappointing. I thought we wouldn't have to worry about recruiting him anymore after the signing period. Delaying until February is not positive news.

It really doesn’t mean committed does it?

You'd think a silent commit wouldn't delay his decision by almost two months, but maybe Smart asked him to delay it for some unknown reason. I'm not sure why he would. I'm just spitballing.

What I meant to say is, Mays may be pulling his strings toward Clemson, as he is OVing with him at Athens.

I didn't mean to make it sound like he is canceling his OV to Athens. He will be at Athens with Mays for an OV.

Keep in mind that this is all coming from one tweet, not even from the recruit. Sentell also immediately couched it by saying "this could change, things are fluid".

I would strongly recommend waiting to see what happens Wednesday before worrying at all. Lots of people in the know still expect Jamaree to sign early with Georgia.

I do think we need to tell Mays to frick off if he’s stopping by Clemson on his way down, as reported

Why? Put yourself in his place. He is going to see what program he likes. He should see as many as he can.
Time is limited and he might want to combine as many visits as he can.

It was rumored he was a silent commitment. I don't think anybody can say for sure that this is a fact.

This isn't coming from 1 tweet. It's coming from several sources. It started on the Clemson side this morning.....UGA insiders later confirmed it after trying to squash it.

I was wondering if Hill signing with UGA would husrt our chances with Sayler. I sure hope not, cause I'd rather have Sayler.

At least we got Hill onboard
I said BEFORE he committed I like Hill better that Sayler. His performance at camps was off the charts.

Trent says, regarding Salyer, that there is some hard negative recruiting coming in surrounding "off the field issues", but that it could be resolved this weekend.

He's a pretty clear lean to Clemson imo, and we don't need their staff giving him ideas before he shows up. He can do whatever he wants on his own dime, but we don't need to host a dude on an OV who's gonna be recruiting our guys to Clemson the whole time.

You mean Clemson negative recruiting against us because of the Brini/Patrick off the field stuff? I can't see how that would be effective.

By the way, Jeff Sentell said there would be one big surprise on signing day for UGA. He didn't say it was good or bad, but from the sound of it on Dawgnation Daily it sounded positive.
