Or is it just a wild guess based on perceived comments? Does he have some insight into recruits' minds?

No, that's why I said it's not just reading the tea leaves

It's pretty damn creepy if he does

I don't think they're wild guesses but I also haven't seen anything from him that wasn't already a widely held belief. Except for Fields - he seems confident on Fields. I guess that will be a good test.

I can't tell if you're just being confidently optimistic or if there is some meat behind it.
Only chatter I've personally heard (after BBQ) was a few other silents, that we've led or been projected to land, for a while.
Two of those I heard of gave different answers to where they thought JF goes recently fwiw.
Those guys and other things circulated would lead me to be optimistic on JF.

Soooooo, Hill and Sawyer are silent. Got it.

I'll gladly throw the person under the bus that gave me the info, but I've got a feeling I'll be giving him the credit for the scoop. I hope that's the case at least. He's been posting here longer than I have.
Couple more names were mentioned. One of those might commit after these next two (AO,KJ).
Could get 1-3 guys committed elsewhere to flip. All on defense.

fricking iPhone always correct "Salyer" to "Sawyer". My bad.
Either way, while I'm not ready to say they're silently committed, I think they're both major leans. I'd be surprised if they ended up anywhere else unless the wheels totally fall off this season. Sounds like plausible info at this point.
Sounds like Otis Reese might be considering staying a little closer to home, as well, so that info could pan out, too.

Was just messing with ya. I know you know his name lol

Otis Reese
We play them this year. Excited to see him fly around the field.
Good to also hear Clark is doing well. With Thompson, Clark, Bishop, and maybe Reese, my area is represented very well. If you count the misses (Adams, Solomon, Bryant) that's a lot of talent around my neck of the woods.
Quay Walker looks solid to Bama, but I haven't checked with anyone over there. Not even sure he's on our board.

hmmmm
I'll play... Otis Reese, Frierson, and ...last ones may be a stretch -- I'll say Derrik Allen/Stephon Wynn

Azeez announces this afternoon at a school assembly.

I hope you win. Especially Reese and Allen
Think we stay on all those guys and a few more, even after we're full.
We're getting a good kid today, with a little brother that's a good ballplayer as well.
Azeez, Tannor, Reese and Anderson would be a great LB group in this class.

Americus, assuming we sign 24, who are your 24 as of today?

Allen's position coach played under Kirby at Valdosta State.

Isn't Otis Reese brother playing at Central Michigan? I could be wrong but that was one of the draws to Michigan for his Otis and his family.

Correct. Not sure which school, but one in Michigan.

I'll give my shot:
QB- Fields (or another QB if we miss on JF)
RB- White, Cook
WR- Jackson, Moore
TE- FitzPatrick Ford (if we miss on Fields, then I'll say Tremble)
OL- Salyer, Hill, Ericson, Condon
DT- Walthour, Thomas
DE- Becton, Langham (or another DE to emerge later)
OLB- Adams, Ojulari, Tannor
ILB- Reese (stepping out on a limb here)
CB- Smith, Frierson
S- Wildgoose, Johnson (?)
P- Camarda

Got 10- assuming they all stay.
Add 2 with Azeez and Jackson.
Starting from high to low confidence-
Salyer
Hill
Fields
Johnson
Anderson
Walthour
Cook
Frierson (Miami)
Reese (Michigan)
Ford
Thomas-DL Montgomery
Lookout for Allen, Wynn, Reese and any instate talent committed elsewhere. We'll fight those out until the end.
A Juco DL to supplement '17 class.
I'd take a C and still feel good about the class.
Thanks Hinesville for passing along the info. I'll throw you under the bus as soon as my list goes to shite

I like, although I don't recognize Langham.
Nice list Americus. I think Wynn comes home in the end.
