That was AWESOME!!

Although, I'll admit that would be pretty lame if I was a fan of another team

Mitchell, Bennett, and Conley all came in the same class. Don't remember Bennett and Conley's star rankings but Mitchell was a 5*

Best I remember were Robinson and Brown in the same year.

My guess would be McBride, Rice, Bryant, or Warner

I think it's moreso that there are still so many big names that we either lead or at least in the hunt for that it's hard to list them all offhand.

I get it, and I wasn't necessarily responding to just your comment. Just kinda reminded me that he's not a guy that's getting a lot of attention but he's probably one of the best players in this class.

An observation because I've lived out of Georgia for half of my life:

It has always been surprising to me how many big time high school players in Georgia come from small towns/schools, like McBride coming out of Vidalia or Charlie Woerner from Rabun County. You don't see that very often in other parts of the country.

Thought this was an interesting point, per 247's article on Herring...

The arrival of Kirby Smart was the catalyst in Herring picking Georgia, who told Dawgs247 back in April he felt he would be at Clemson if not for Smart.

"That was important for him, as it was for a lot of them kids - Jaden Hunter, Jake Fromm, Richard LeCounte, it was big for all of them," Nelson said. "They want to be part of something new, different, and special. They see the vision that Kirby Smart has, something great out on the horizon, and they want to get together and get it done."

Whenever we can pull recruits from places like PA and TX, and keep key GA recruits, we know our staff is doing some work. This class promises to be a very, very good one. Props to CKS and staff.

Robinson?

Durrell Robinson. Him and Reggie were the top 2 receivers in that class and we got both. Durrell never amounted to anything. Reggie looked spotty as a FR in 2000, didn't play in 01 (I think injury), was still dealing with the dropsies in 02 but finally came on strong as an upperclassman.

And I forgot Michael Johnson who caught a TD or two at key times.

Fun michael johnson stat. He didn't have QUITE the stat stuffing game against AU in 03 that he did in 02, but he came darn close. His encore perforamnce against them had 5 catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, in addition to a 1/1 passing day for 40 yards.

Plenty of time to flip that, especially if we can get to a nice bowl next year
